After the events surrounding the hur'q invasion, First Koda'kan was assigned to the defense of the Federation by his Dominion masters. Though still reporting up through Dominion chains of command, with the discovery of the Dyson spheres, the opening of the Delta Quadrant, and the prosecution of the Iconian War, Koda'kan has proven himself loyal to Starfleet, its commanders and objectives, and respectful of Federation principles.
