Ch'kar, Son of Kulak, rose rapidly through the ranks, eventually commanding a KDF Martok-class capital ship, the I.K.S. Paq'batlh. On patrol in a remote sector, searching for a reported True Way strike force, Captain Ch'kar instead encountered a Klingon "Wolf Pack" displaced from the so-called Kelvin Timeline. After a brief dialog, the five Kelvin Timeline D4x birds-of-prey agreed to return with Ch'kar to Qo'noS and have been assimilated into the Prime Universe Klingon Defense Force. In a show of good faith, the now-Dahar Master Ch'kar offered to swap commands and now captains one of those alternate timeline birds-of-prey.
